Casey Cottle, DPT

Casey received his physical therapy training at the University of New England Doctor of Physical Therapy program, and graduated in 2016. With a focus on motion analysis and biomechanics, Casey published an article in the National Strength and Conditioning Association peer reviewed Journal of Strength and Conditioning Research about sprinting mechanics. He completed the final of 3 clinical practicae with the Spaulding National Running Center with a focus on chronic running related injuries. 

Casey brings a wealth of orthopedic knowledge to the CPT team, and sat for his Orthopedic Clinical Specialty (OCS) in 2020. Education and research are pillars of Casey’s practice, and he is a knowledgeable and enthusiastic mentor for student physical therapists in the clinic. He is a current member of the APTAs orthopedic and research sections.

Jiu Jitsu is Casey’s primary movement practice. Other interests include lifting, trail running, and foraging for wild mushrooms.
